Etsy is a cutting edge international web market for crafts. Imagine a beautiful looking ebay where all the sellers have made their own products. There are thousands of little shops there run by people from all over the world (mostly Americans so far), selling everything from cookies to jewelry. The predominant mode of payment is paypal, and many sellers also accept checks or money orders. There is a feedback system similar to ebay's so you can research the credibility of sellers and have some accountability in case your transaction becomes complicated in any way.
